The correct option is A Case 2 only
Iron is a conductor of heat while plastic is an insulator of heat. Conductors allow heat to transfer through them. Thus, if we heat one end of the iron rod then after sometime, its other end will become hot.
As soon as heat reaches to the pin Q, wax will melt and result in falling of pin Q.
Hence, the pin will fall in case 2 only.
