Solution

The correct option is C 1.1 A, 0.4 A, 0.4 A
From Kirchhoff's current law, total incoming current at a junction must equal the total outgoing current from that junction

At junction S

By KCL, total outgoing current = total incoming current

I3+I5=I4

I3=I4I5

Given, I4=0.8 A, I5=0.4 A

I3=0.80.4=0.4 A

Hence, value of I3 is 0.4 A.

At junction P

Given, I5=0.4 A
From KCL, I5=I6=0.4 A

Hence, value of I6 is 0.4 A.

At junction Q
From KCL, I2+I1=I6+I3

Given, I1 is equal to 0.3 A

I2=0.4 A+0.4 A+0.3 A=1.1 A

Hence, value of I2 is 1.1 A

Hence, option (a) is crrect.
