The shaded region is three times the sector each subtending $60^{\circ}$ .

$r = 14, θ = 60^{\circ}$

$A r e a o f a s e c t o r = \frac{θ}{360^{\circ}} \times π r^{2}$

The required area
$= \frac{60^{\circ}}{360^{\circ}} \times π (14)^{2} \times 3$

$= 308 c m^{2}$
