From figure, we have,
1st side + 2nd side + 3rd side = perimeter of the triangle
x+(10−x)+x+(12−x)+(10−x)+(12−x)=10+12+8
10+12+10+12−2x=30
44−2x=30
⇒x=7
∴PL=x=7cm
From figure, we have,
