(i) AC=CD
∠CAD=∠CDA=38∘ [Angles opposite to equal sides]
∠ACD=180∘−38∘−38∘=104∘ [Sum of all angles in a triangle is 180∘]
∠ACB=180∘−104∘=76∘ [Linear pair]
AB=AC
∠ABC=∠ACB=76∘ [Angles opposite to equal sides]
(ii) ∠BAC=180∘−76∘−76∘=28∘
∠BAC=∠BEC=28∘ (angles in the same segment are equal, subtended by BC as a common chord)
