Given: BC = 5 cm, AB = 6 cm and perimeter of ABCD = 25 cm

We know that, tangents drawn from an external point to a circle are equal in lengths.

AB=AE=6cm
And, ED=CD(say x)Now,AB+BC+CD+ED+AE=25cm (Given) 6+5+x+x+6=25cm17+2x=252x=25172x=8cmx=82x=4cm

Thus, the value of ED is 4 cm.

Hence, the correct answer is option b .
