$156 = 13 \times D L$

$D L = 12 c m$

Apply Pythagoras theorem in Triangle DLA

$A D^{2} = D L^{2} + A L^{2}$

$13^{2} = 12^{2} + A L^{2}$

$A L^{2} = 25$

$A L = 5 c m$
