In the given figure, $ABCD$ is a rectangle and $AB=14cm$ and $BC=7cm.$ Taking $DC,BC$ and $AD$ as diameter$,$ three semicircles are drawn$.$ Find area of the shaded portion$.$

Area of $ABCD=7\times 14=98$.

Area of semicircle $=\frac{1}{x}\times \frac{22}{7}\times 7\times 7=77$

Area of shaded $98-77=21$

Area of semi circle $=2\times \frac{22}{7}\times \frac{1}{2}\times \frac{7}{2}\times \frac{7}{2}$

$=\frac{77}{2}$

$\Rightarrow 21+\frac{77}{2}=59.5$
