In the given figure, ABCD is a square. Find the measure of CAD.

In square ABCD, AC is its diagonal.

We know that, the diagonals of a square bisect the interior angles.

CAD=CAB

But, DAB=90(Angle of a square is 90^\circ)

CAD=CAB=12×DAB

= 12×90=45

Hence, CAD=45
