GIven, AD=AE

ADE=AED (Isosceles triangle propery)

180ADE=180AED

ADB=AEC.....(1)

Given: AD2=BD×EC

ADEC=BDAD...(2)

Now, in ABD and ACE,

ADB=AEC (From (1))

ADEC=BDAD (From (2))
ADBD=ECAE

Corresponding sides of two triangles are proportional.

Thus, ABDACE (SAS criterion)
