Area of a triangle = 12height×base
Area ADC = 12AD×AB=8
or AD×AB=16 (1)
Now, Area BDC=12AB×BC=3
AB×BC=6 (2)
Subtracting (1) and (2)
AB(ADBC)=10
AB×AE=10
12AB×AE=5
Hence, Ar. AEB=5
