Given, area of shaded triangle =9 cm2
and base of the triangle = 3 cm
Area of triangle =12×Base×Height
9=12×3×h183=hh=6 cm
Area of parallelogram = Height × Base of parallelogram =6×(3+4)=6×7=42 cm2
