Given:
Area of shaded $△AEB=9c{m}^2$
and base (BE) of $△AEB$ = 3 cm
Area of triangle =$\frac{1}{2}\times Base\times Height$
$\Rightarrow 9=\frac{1}{2}\times 3\times h$
$\Rightarrow \frac{18}{3}=h\Rightarrow h=6cm$
$\therefore$ Area of parallelogram = Height $\times$ Base of parallelogram $=6\times (3+4)=6\times 7=42c{m}^2$
