(i) $I n Δ P Q R - ---------- -$ , $p + q + r = 180^{\circ}$ ...(Sum angle property of triangle)

(ii) AB || CD

$∴$ $∠ s a n d ∠ t$ are co-interior angles

$∴ ∠ s + ∠ t = 180 °$

From (i) and (ii)

$∴ p + q + r + s + t = 180^{\circ} + 180^{\circ}$

$= 360^{\circ}$
