From Legendre's theorem, we know,
The sum of angles of a triangle is constant and equal to two right angles
ABC + ACB + CAB = 180
60 + ACB + 60 = 180
ACB = 60

Now, since BD is a straight line
ACB + ACD = 180(linear pair)
ACD = 120
2 ACD = 2 × 120 = 240
