In the given figure, if $BC=3,CD=4,B-C-D$ then find the values of following ratios
$\frac{A\left(△ABC\right)}{A\left(△ABD\right)}$

In $\Delta$ABC;

BC$=3$; CD$=4$

BD$=BC+CD$

$=3+4=7$

$\therefore \Delta ABC$ & $\Delta ABD$

have same height

$\therefore$ By triangle having same height

$\frac{A\left(\Delta ABC\right)}{A\left(\Delta ABD\right)}=\frac{BC}{BD}=\frac{3}{7}$.
