In the given figure, $l||m$ and $t$ is a transversal. If $\angle 1$ and $\angle 2$ are in the ratio $5:7$, find the measure of each of the angles $\angle 1,\angle 2,\angle 3$ and $\angle 8$

Angle 1 + Angle 2 = 180 degrees;

5x + 7x = 180 ;

12x = 180;

x = 15 degrees

Angle 1 = Angle 3 = 5x = 5*15 = 75 degrees;

Angle 2 = Angle 8 = 7x = 7*15 = 105 degrees
