The correct option is A 12 ft
Let us look at the two triangles
(ΔPQS and ΔPRS) inside ΔPQR.


Side PS is common to both the triangles ...(1).

Also, PS is the angle bisector.

QPS=RPS ...(2)

PQ=PR ...(3) (Given)

ΔPQSΔPRS
(by S-A-S criterion of congruence)

QS=RS
(as corresponding parts of congruent triangles)

RS=6 ft

QR=QS+RS=6 ft+6 ft =12 ft
