Here, $REST$ is a parallelogram.

We know that diagonals of parallelogram bisect each other.

$\therefore$ $EO=OT$

$\Rightarrow$ $y+7=20$

$\Rightarrow$ $y=20-7$

$\therefore$ $y=13cm$

Similarly, $RO=OS$

$\Rightarrow$ $16=x+y$

Substituting value of $y$ we get,

$\Rightarrow$ $16=x+13$

$\Rightarrow$ $x=16-13$

$\Rightarrow$ $x=3cm$

$\therefore$ The value of $x$ and $y$ are $3cm$ and $13cm.$
