Since the rays are incident on the surface at angle A2, they will be reflected at the same angle from the surface.
By shifting the reflected rays parallel to the vertex of angle A.
It is clear from the diagram that angle between reflected rays will be the sum o the angles made by reflected rays from the surface and the angle of the prism
=A/2+A+A/2=2A
