AB=AC

ABC=ACB ( Angles opposite to equal sides of the triangle are equal)

Let ABC=ACB=p

In BCD,

BD=DC

DBC=DCB ( Angles opposite to equal sides of the triangle are equal)

Let DBC=DCB=q

Step-2: Find the ratio between ABD and ACD

ABD=ABCDBC

ABD=pq......(1)

ACD=ACBDCB

ACD=pq......(2)

Dividing (1) by (2)

ABDACD=p-qp-q

ABDACD=11

Hence, ABD:ACD=1:1
