Area of shaded region = area of square (yellow region) + area of two major sector (green region)

Given- side of square = 28 cm, radius of circle = 14 cm.

Area of sector = θ360 ×π r2, where θ is the central angle of the sector

=282+2×270360×227×14×14

=784+924=1708 cm2
