Since sum of all the angles on a straight line is ${180}^{\circ }$
Therefore $6y+y+2y={180}^{\circ }\Rightarrow 9y={180}^{\circ }\Rightarrow y=\frac{{180}^{\circ }}{9}\therefore y={20}^{\circ }$
