The correct option is B -4
As per remainder theorem, if P(x) is divided by (x-a), then remainder will be equal to P(a).

The distance between the points where the divisor cuts the x-axis and the value of dividend at that point will be our remainder (in this case (4, -4)).

Join the points with vertices (4, 0) and (4, -4), this distance comes out to be 4 units, hence 4 is the remainder.
