In the given magic square, if each row, column and diagonal have the same sum, the find the value of A and B respectively:

Row 1 has the sum of numbers in it $= 1 + (- 10) + 0 = - 9$
Hence, in the first column, the sum $= 1 + A + (- 6) = A - 5 = - 9$ . $A = - 4$
The sum in the third column $= 0 + (- 2) + B = - 9$ $B = - 7$
