Given coordinates of A=(0,0),B=(5,0),C=(7,6) Let the coordinate of D be (x,y) ∵ In a parallogram opposite sides are equal and parallel. ∴ Difference in X-coordinate of A & D = Difference in X-coordinate of B and C. ⇒x−0=7−5 ⇒x=2 and similarly difference in Y-coordinates of A and D = difference in Y-coordinates of B and C ⇒y−0=6−0 ⇒y=6 ∴ Coordinates of D=(x,y)=(2,6)
