In the given quadrilateral ABCD,

1=12 C, 2=12 D
in COD,
1+ 2+ COD=180
COD=180( 1+ 2) ...(i)
Also,
A+ B+ C+ D=360
A+ B+2( 1+ 2)=360
A+ B=3602( 1+ 2)
A+ B=2[180( 1+ 2)]
Now from (i),
A+ B=2 COD
