Solution

The correct option is C SRPQ
The proper sequence is SRPQ. Let us see why.
The sentence starts with the phrase, ''The majestic sandalwood bed, which is the subject. The clause (S) 'which is well-maintained' describes the subject. Hence, it has to immediately follow the subject. Hence, the first part of the sentence is: 'The majestic sandalwood bed, which is well-maintained'.
The first part of the sentence has to be followed by the verb related to the subject. The clause (P) 'that is now impoverished' cannot be about the subject (As the sandalwood bed cannot be impoverished). The phrase (Q), 'but not without some pride' also cannot be about the subject (As the sandalwood bed cannot have pride). The phrase, (S) 'belongs to the royal family' talks about the subject 'The majestic sandalwood bed'. Hence, (R) follows (S).

The phrase (P) i.e 'that is now impoverished' talks about the royal family. Hence (P) has to immediately follow (R). The phrase, 'but not without some pride' also talks about the royal family. It means 'however, it still retains some pride'. As this phrase starts with the conjunction, 'but', we know that it contradicts a clause/phrase which immediately precedes it. It is unusual for a royal family to be impoverished (i.e poor). Part (Q) means that: Even though the royal family is impoverished, it still retains its pride. Hence (Q) should follow (R).

So, the correct sentence is: 'The majestic sandalwood bed, (S) which is well-maintained', (R) belongs to the royal family (P) that is now impoverished, (Q) but not without some pride'.
Hence, option C i.e SRPQ is correct and the other options A, B and D are incorrect.
