The correct option is A Filtration followed by evaporation
Salt and sand can be separated by the following method:-
(i) Dissolve the sample containing salt and sand in enough water such that no salt particles is left undissolved.
(ii) Heat the solution till all the salt particles are dissolved.
(iii) Let the solution cool down. Then filter using filter paper such that the sand is separated on the paper.
(iv) Then again boil the salt solution till the water is evaporated and the only salt is left.
So, methods involved are- Dissolution Filtration Evaporation.
