The hexagonal ring in benzene with 6 carbon and 6 hydrogen (C6H6) is a perfect hexagon with all carbon-carbon bonds with identical length of 1.40 Å. Due to resonance the double bonds being shorter (1.34 Å) than the single bonds (1.54 Å).
