Solution

The correct option is C fovea centralis
The visual acuity is the greatest at fovea centralis. This is because it is densely packed with cone photoreceptor cells. Cone photoreceptor cells are responsible for daylight or photopic vision and colour vision. Fovea is the central pit of the yellowish pigmented spot called macula lutea present at the posterior pole of the eye lateral to the blind spot.
The blind spot is that region of the retina where there are no photoreceptor cells present. The optic disc is the optic nerve head. It is the site where ganglion cell axons exit the eye to form the optic nerve. It is a part of the blind spot.
