Solution

Step-1: Finding the morning packing rate in pints per hour:

Number of strawberries pints packed by worker in every 4minutes=3

So, number of strawberries pints packed by her in every 60minutes=3×604

=45

Thus her morning packing rates in pints per hour is 45.

Step-2: Finding the afternoon packing rate in pints per hour:

Number of strawberries pints packed by worker in every 3minutes=2

So, number of strawberries pints packed by her in every 60minutes=2×603

=40

Thus her afternoon packing rates in pints per hour is 40.

Step-3: Find the difference between both packing rates:

The difference between both the rates =Morning rates - Afternoon rates

=45-40

=5

Hence, the required difference between both the packing rates is 5 pints per hour.
