Question

In the ncert book absisc acid is used to stop the growth but in byju they say it opposite may I know the correct one pls sir/mam

Solution

Application of minute quantity of abscisic acid to leaves shall reduce transpiration to a great extent through partial closure of stomata. It conserves water and reduces the requirement of irrigation.
So it is used to stop growth to an extent to reduce irrigation requirement.
But in byjus it might have written for another context such as below example, here it works for developement.
Abscisic acid is a plant hormone involved in many developmental plant processes, such as dormancy and environmental stress response. Abscisic acid is produced in the roots of the plant as well as the terminal buds at the top of the plant.
