The correct option is A $3$
A circle with centre $O$ , touches the sides $A B, B C, C D, D A,$ at $P, Q, R, S$ respectively.
Join $O P, O Q, O R, O S$
Now two tangents drawn from an external C
point to a circle subtend equal angles at
the centre.
$∴ (i) A P = A S, (i i) B P = B Q, (i i i) C R = C Q, (i v) D R = D S$
$A B = 6 c m, B C = 7 c m, C D = 4 c m$
Now from above solution we have
$A B + C D = B C + A D$
$\Rightarrow 10 = 7 + A D$
$\Rightarrow A D = 3 c m$
Hence the choice (A) is correct answer.
