The correct answer is Option C.
In sentence 1: DEIFY means to worship as God. In the sentence, the person referred to is worshiped as God because of his social service.
Thus sentence 2 is correct.
In sentence 2: DEFY means to disobey or challenge.
The sentence says that one should not defy the government i.e. one should not disobey the government.
Thus sentence 2 is also correct.
Thus Option C is the correct answer because both the sentences are correct.
