The correct option is C 2,4,6-tribromophenol and picric acid
(X) is 2,4,6-tribromophenol and (Y) is picric acid (2,4,6-trinitrophenol). Bromine and nitric acid both oxidise the carboxylic part and because of highly activated ring (presence of $- O H$ group), tribromination and trinitration occurs.
