Solution

The correct option is A B
Anterior pituitary secretes growth hormone (GH), thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH), adrenocorticotrophic hormone (ACTH), luteinising hormone (LH), follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) and prolactin. Posterior pituitary releases Anti-diuretic hormone (ADH) also knowns as vasopressin. This hormone helps the kidneys to increase water absorption. The corpus luteum secretes progesterone which supports the pregnancy. Thyroid secretes thyroxine which helps in the regulation of body's metabolic rate, heart and digestive functions. Oxytocin is also stored and released from posterior pituitary and plays a role in the uterine contraction during labour.
So, the correct answer is option B.
