B Swaraj Bill
C Commonwealth of India Bill
D Nehru Report
In 1895, Bal Gangadhar Tilak presented the Swaraj Bill to the British government, asking for the right to freedom of thought and expression and equality before the law. These demands were reiterated in Annie Besant’s Commonwealth of India Bill proposed in 1925. Later, the demand for equal rights for men and women was raised through the Nehru Report in 1928.

The Ilbert Bill of 1884 proposed that senior Indian magistrates should be allowed to preside over cases involving British subjects in India.
