An important part of Constitution says it is the "duty of the State to raise the level of nutrition and the standard of living and to improve public health."

‘Living standard’ means the condition of the surroundings one lives in. ‘Public health’ refers to the measures which the state and the people take to ensure that all people enjoy a basic minimum level of health.
