In AOB and COD, we have

AOB=COD [Vertically opposite angles]

And, OAB=OCD [Alternate angles]

So, by AA-criterion of similarity, we have AOBCOD.

area of AOBarea of COD=(AB)2(DC)2

We know that, AB=3DC.

Then, area of AOBarea of COD=(3DC)2DC2=91

Hence, Area (AOB ) : Area (COD) = 9 : 1
