In this question are given four statements followed by five conclusions, one of which definitely does not logically follow (or is not a possibility of occurrence) from the given statements. That conclusion is your answer.

Note:- You have to take the four given statements to be true even it they seem to be at variance with commonly known facts and then decide which of the given conclusions logically does not follow from the given statements disregarding commonly known facts.

Statements:-
All circles are spheres.
All spheres are rectangles.
No rectangle is a pyramid.
No pyramid is a triangle

Conclusions:-
a. Atleast some circles are pyramids.
b. All triangles being circles is a possibility.
c. All rectangles being triangles is a possibility.
d. Atleast some rectangles are circles.

The correct option is A Atleast some circles are pyramids
Combining the first two statements and then converting the conclusion, (d) follows. Similarly, (e) follows from the second and the third statements. The possibilities in (b) and (c) cannot be ruled out. Let us check (a), all circles are spheres + All spheres are rectangles + No rectangle is a pyramid = (A + A) = E = A + E = E = No circle is a pyramid. Hence, (a) does not follow.

Hence, only conclusion (a) does not follow
