Let the number of sunflowers in the basket =s.
Now, according to the question:
No. of roses + No. of lilies + No. of sunflowers = Total number of flowers in the basket ⇒20+15+s=50 ⇒35+s=50
On subtracting 35 from both sides of the equation, we get: ⇒35+s−35=50−35 ⇒s=15
