Given that, AOC=90,AO=8 cm,BC=9 cm and AC=10 cm.

In the right-angled triangle ΔAOC,

AC2=AO2+CO2 [By Pythagoras theorem]

102=82+OC2

OC2=10064

OC2=36

OC=6cm

Now, In the right-angled triangle ΔAOB,

AB2=AO2+BO2 [By Pythagoras theorem]

AB2=82+152 [Since BO=BC+OC=9+6=15]

AB2=64+225

PR2=289

PR=17cm
