In two different experiments, the copper oxide was obtained from copper. The ratio of the mass of copper and the mass of oxygen found in the two experiments are the same. They are in the ratio of 4:1. What of you infer about the experiments?

In 2 different experiments, copper oxide was obtained from copper and the ratio of mass of Cu and mass of O found in 2 experiments are same, i.e 4:1
This shows that the experiments are in accordance with the law of constant or definite proportions. According to this law, a chemical compound always contains exactly the same proportion of elements by mass.
