Analytical method: Consider a particle revolving in the anticlockwise sense along the circumference of a circle of radius r with center O as shown figure.
Let v= Linear velocity of the particle
ω= Angular velocity of the particle
r= radius vector of the particle
In the vector from, the linear displacement is
δ=δθ×r
Dividing both side by δt we get
δsδt=δθδt×r
limδt0δsδt=limδt0δθδt×r
dsδt=δθδt×r
But dsδt=r Linear velocity and δθδt=ω Angular velocity
v=ω×r
