Question

In v-t graph , why velocity *time=dislpacement , only possible in constant motion... Explain in detail with reasons....

Solution

Because,if it not a constanr motion, then the object will have acceleration. So that the velocity will change with time.So that we won't be able to get a constant velocity to multiply with time.(Since the velocity changes with every instant). So we can use velocity×time=displacement only in constant motion.

In cases where the velocity is not constant,we can find the area of velocity time graph to find displacement.
