Given the points A(-3, 2) and B (6, 1)
(x1,y1)(x2,y2)
Let the coordinate of points (0,y) divide the given points in the ratio m:n

We can use section formula to find the coordinates of (0,y)

(0,y)=(mx2+nx1m+n,my2+ny1m+n)

(6m3nm+n,m+2nm+n)=(0,y)

Equating the x- axis co-ordinates we get,

6m3nm+n=06m=3ni.e,mn=12

Required ratio = 1:2
