The equation of given line is
x+y4=0
Let the given line divide the line joining A(-1,1) and B(5,7) in the ratio k:1 at point
Then coordinates of C are
[5k1k+1,7k+1k+1]

Since the point lies on the given line

5k1k+1+7k+1k+14=0

5k1+7k+14k4=0

8k=4 k=12

The required is 12: 1 i.e. 1:2.
