The correct option is A 10 years
Simple Interest, $S I = \frac{P \times N \times R}{100}$
Given, $A m o u n t, A = 3 P$ , $R = 20 %$
$=> P + S I = 3 P$
$=> P + \frac{P \times N \times 20}{100} = 3 P$
$=> P + 0.2 N P = 3 P$

$=> 0.2 N = 2$
$=> N = 10$ years
