LEDs can be used as a part of a tester circuit to test conductivity of any type of solution. Hence, LED can be used to test the conductivity of honey and orange juice.

LEDs can even glow when the current in the circuit is less.

But they may get damaged when high current flows through it. Also in this case, since LED also provides very less resistance, this circuit might discharge the source very quickly.

Hence, in the case of high current flow, LED as a part of a tester is not preferred.
